About Me: Muse of Reading

Welcome to my blog, Muse of Reading.

This site is dedicated to my dearest love: books.

I am an avid reader and a writer as well. I am currently seeking an agent for my YA thriller. I write MG and picture books as well.

I grew up on my family’s farm in the 80’s listening to the scary stories my father shared around the kitchen table. As an English teacher and a PreK-12 school librarian, I wrote book reviews and an article on YA steampunk titles for School Library Connection magazine. I co-edited the Lost Boys Press anthology Heroes and contributed to their eZine, Straight on Til Morning.  In addition, I have written for the Ohio Journal of English Language Arts and am a member of SCBWI.
